Hey everyone,

Was at the junkyard looking around and the parts car that I got my heated seats from is still there chillen.. It was equipped with ASR and it got me thinking about a LSD.

Last year I went off-roading with my w124 out in the desert and got stuck in the sand, having the open differential sucked because the old one wheel spins the other did nothing. This red w124 got me thinking about possibly maybe taking out the differential and putting it on my w124 but I did some researching and I would have to transfer the whole ASR system, not to mention rebuilding the differential and that's a hell no, already had a mess with my heated seat install, can't imagine wiring for ASR :/

But from what I was reading, Mercedes has a non ASR LSD for the w124, it's something like a grand I read, but my question is if one were to buy this from MB, is it just plug and play? I just get the part from them and pay a shop to put it in, is that easy? Or do I need all this other bs like sensors and relays?
