Is the 'torsion bar' the same as the 'front stabilizer bar' described in the 126 Chassis manual at 32-300?

Is the 'torsion bar' also decribed as the 'sway bar' in common parlance?

I'm asking as I get the low speed groan on bumps (suggesting, as you say, that torsion bar bushings need replacement).

These appear to be split and an easy installation - I'm looking at 32-300-26.

Do you have to realign the front end after doing this?
