my thoughts- not original

I think that you would need to replace the struts with both springs and shocks. From other reading that I have been doing, it would not be easy to find springs that would work/fit properly. I think that I say some other posts describing this operation.

At the end of the day, it seems like it would be easier to fix the original system. I have seen the parts in local junkyards which leads me to believe that for less than $200 you could rebuild your hydraulic suspension.

In either case, it would be a lot of work.
