I ordered a new Left rear wheel rpm sensor but have not received it.
2 Questions 1 is the wiring to the RPM sensors in the long narrow connector in front of the break hoses?
second is where is the TCM located so I can check if there is any fluid that migrated into that, there was a lot of leaking around the seal that connects to the connector plate.
thanks for helping as I can't find a manual for this car.

Hi Tom, yes you can measure your wheel speed sensors at the ABS/ESP module connector that is next to the pump motor. The cover has a locking clip on the bottom, when you release one side, you should be able pull up on the cover/lever and it will ease out. The cover pivots at the top of the connector and when you re-install the connector, you will need push down on the cover to lock it.
Here are the pinout numbers at the connector.
Left Front, pins 3 & 4
Right Front, pins 32 & 33
Left Rear, pins 6 & 7
Right Rear, pins 35 & 36
If you don't get a resistance reading, reverse the VOM leads. I would also check the connection at the wheel where it goes into the wheel well and measure the sensor.
I had a P0500 code and replaced the left rear speed sensor due to bad resistance readings. After replacing the sensor, I was able to clear the DTC with my code scanner.
I believe the TCM is located under the passenger side floor carpet. I have pictures of all the stuff that is under there if you need to see it.
Good luck,
Dave
