I don't do themes by vehicle but I do have separate playlists depending on mood.
Country drinking songs to get in the party mood.
Old Metallica/Pantera/Rob Zombie/Godsmack/Five Finger Deathpunch/Disturbed or Dropkick Murphys/Flogging Molly/The Mighty Mighty Bosstones to keep me awake when driving late at night (or through it)
or when I'm pissed off and want to blow off some steam.
80's hair bands or Beastie Boys & Run DMC when I'm feeling nostalgic.
ZZ Top's Ranch Texicano (38 songs!) and Zac Brown Band on shuffle when I'm in the mood to chill.
60's surf tunes to bring me back to my youth since that's what my mom & dad listened to when I was a punk kid growing up in the 70's and they always make me think of those great summers we had growing up on the beach and boat.
