If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'!

As a Pats fan, it is hard to keep defending. Instead of enjoying the arsewhooping of the Colts and looking forward to the Super Bowl, it's Deflategate, Deflategate, Deflategate.

At this point for me, it's just a matter of waiting for the full report to come out and see what's in it. Belichick has a history of pushing the limits of the letter of the rule and seeing just how far he can go, regardless of whether others have done it before or not, and seems to relish poking the NFL in the eye. Just as the formations against Baltimore and Indy were a (almost) new wrinkle based on the rules as written, I wouldn't put it past him to have the balls heated and filled with heated air to the prescribed psi for the referees pregame check knowing full well they'd lose some pressure as they cooled. Pure speculation on my part, but thus far that's all this story has been anyway with some anonymous leaks mixed in.

How exactly the ball boy, or someone else, would be able to get exactly 2 psi out of each football without all of the cameras seeing them is what I'm having a tough time with. It makes me wonder if the referee crew dropped the ball (groan ) on the initial test.
