I can't stand any pressboard furniture, especially since owning a dog (nail marks can't be removed). So about a year or two ago, got their Ivar, plus expandable. Now when I go back, quality is down some and no longer have the drawer or door units. But, found some knot free shelving parts and put it in the living room, as the office has already a whole wall of them. Makes a great room divider, replacing a wall that shouldn't have been removed. When I get the chance, will get another unit.
The RAST with a modification looks like just the ticket for a nightstand. I like my Danish bedroom set I have, but the cat finds great amusement in opening the empty dresser drawers in the very early morning hours... And other issues.
