You should keep it original. It is a great option to have on that car, especially when it's loaded down with passengers and luggage...

First you need to pinpoint where the leak is coming from. If it's leaking at the rear, then it's either the struts or the levelling valve or the metal lines. If at front, then maybe the pump, resirvoir or pressure lines.
