Anyone have a wiring diagram for the wipers/washer for the '80 240D?


I'm new to Mercedes repair. This is also my 1st post.

I made a serious error when installing a new bypass glow plug system. Last step of that repair I bundled a group of wires together (thought were completely disabled), and as it turns out one of them was primary always on and (fortunately, it only) knocked out my wipers/washer.

Glow plug repair went smoothly, until that last step!


I also want to convey my thanks to this forum, you've provided much help in getting this car up and running properly. I had never even looked under the hood of a Mercedes or diesel until a few months ago, and slowly step by step I've got a pretty decent car now. Except- No Wipers! Northeast Ohio without wipers is not a good thing.

My recent repairs:
Water pump
Alternator
Belts
New bypass glow plug system
2 rear axles
Complete rear brake replace
O-ring replace between the Brake master cylinder - booster (made a huge braking improvement!)
