First, what is " printed down "?
This is the way I understand how the glow system works:
cluster glow plug light on indicates all glow plugs tested fine.
If there's a short circuit at one or more glow plugs, it will blow the glow relay fuse and the glow system no longer works.
If one or more glow plugs is burned out (open circuit), there's a circuit inside the glow plug relay that will detect it and the cluster glow plug light will be switched off, and no longer lights up at the preglow process.

93 602 glow operation
Insert key turn to glow position light in console comes on for a period of time say 8 seconds but is based on engine coolant temp. NORMAL OPERATION
Open circuit of 1 or more glow plugs or 1 or more plugs higher resistance not operating correctly. Plugs are energized for the same duration but lamp flashes.
Short circuit lamp does not glow for the 8 or so seconds then remains on for about a minute. These relays do not have a fuse just the circuits and auto reset. Power is not applied to any plug in this case.
My thoughts are one or more lugs are pointing upwards shorting to the intake manifold. If you are lucky you might even set it or them but fixing may require removal of the manifold but you are in the best position to determine e that.
What is the ambient temperature when you try to start the engine?
