Ah! I thought you were talking about retrofitting an electrically controlled vacuum locking pump from a 201/126/124 car! In that case, some extensive modifications would be necessary. However, retrofitting an electric solenoid in the driver's door is not hard at all. Basically you need one power door lock motor, and a keyless entry control module to control it and (if you so choose) flash the parking lights, horn chirp, etc.
If you want to make the parking lights flash while retaining use of the separate left/right standing light feature, you'll need to use relays. I posted the diagram a while back...
