This is my second used CD. First was a '78. This one is a '80.
I've had it for about three years. Yes, the dealer valve adjustment was good. I just didn't have the knack for it I guess.
Swapped engines in the '78 when it siezed a center piston. Towed it back from Alabama and found a rusty sedan for a thousand w/rebuilt engine. Swap was a bear. No room. In the next fifty miles it got totaled from the rear on an icy Interstate. Still have it as a parts car.

Hood pad OK in this one. I know it would be noisy w/out it.

I'll see what happens after the driveline bearing and then go for the mounts.
