I recently acquired a 1987 190 2.5td with about 170k.

I've read quite a few posts about chain stretch, so I decided to look at mine this weekend.

I took the valve cover off and lined the two lines on the sprocket and the first cam cap and then looked at the harmonic (sp?) balancer and the pointer was right next to "O" on a capital "T". Does this mean I'm O.K.?
