this is a 1991 Mercedes 190E 2.6 I took the dash apart and removed the speedo, I found no broken gears. trip indicator has no broken gears either, I can push the zero lever but nothing happens. I thought it might have a spring but not so. can any one help me find out how this is supose to work?
