Are the 126 gas gauges known to have problems?
My first incident was when my car had about 160K. The gauge would not go all the way full when I fill it and while driving the needle would go to R then stay in the middle. Sometimes it would move like the speedometer needle, up and down randomly. After replacing the sender the problem was still there. I finally replaced the gas gauge cluster from a car with 76,000 miles and that solved the problem for about a year. The problem is now back. Anyone know what is causing this?
I have no other electrical problems that I know of.
