Glad to hear from you, yes it is true that the plugs only fire once and that is when you first try to crank the engine. now I hooked up my fuel gauge's today and wanted to see if the pumps are running in the cranking of the engine and they are. the fuel pressure stayed up. I am in the processes of trying to test the coil. I must say it is curious the way it all developed at once.
