Moly is from MoS2 which is an antiwear additive.

All I can say is, also consider the injection pump and turbo since they are also within the oil path. I wonder if there is any Chrome within the turbo bearings. Chrome could come from the piston rings, but it's a great point that the cylinder wall and probably piston skirt would be wearing in addition.

I don't know what exactly is Chrome plated or a Chrome alloy within a 606.
