here in Russia bilstein sells several types of shocks for mercedes 124. these are- original, HD,sport and sprint.
also they sell BTS suspension kits that consist of 4 lowering progressive springs (made by eibach) and 4 shocks (made by bilstein). the shocks from this kit are called sprint (not sport) and are specially designed to work with lowering springs.

when i was replacing HDs with sportlines we looked at the shocks and found no differtence in their length and travel too!!!!

so what i want to figure out is bilstein sport that sold in US is identical to what they sell here under this name or these shocks are called sprint here. i have called bilstein dealers and they all told me that bilstein sports for w 124 are all painted black!!!!!! are they black in US too?? or yellow?
