It sounds like the Sport shocks you see are what we call HD, or something similar. Over here, HD's are black and Sports are yellow. Here's what Neil found:

It sounds to me like you'd want the Sprint (yellow) shocks. Are you sure you have OE Mercedes Sportline shocks now? What are the part numbers?
