After spending a few days at the range with a member of the pistol team while I was in the Army, going through almost 1,000 rounds both days with a .45, I've been queer for them ever since. I qualified Marksman with a .45 before all that shooting and requalified Expert after all that experience. One of them in my hand is operated with pure reflex, so I never saw a reason to change.
I've only fired a revolver a few different times since then.
This is nothing against revolvers or those who prefer them. It's just my personal preference.

Never been queer for any guy or any gun but to each his own.

I had a couple of 45s. One was a 1911 Kimber and the other is a Sig P220. Switched to the 9mm since I wanted a smaller sized gun for carry P290 in the summer and maybe use a P239 for winter carry. Also went to a HK VP9 as the bedroom gun on my side. Not sure if the wife will adopt it or keep with her G23 that has been converted to 9mm.
