That is one cool document! What a complex design of supercharger, I doubt the longevity of it suited Mercedes diesels in the end (meaning it would be frequently replaced). Interestingly the supercharged one got better fuel economy and better acceleration. except at idle it consumed more fuel. It would have been even more interesting if they were able to compare a 220D for each test rather then a 240D.
