Two suggestions:

- peanut butter (the oil removes stains from vinyl and paint).

- a product called De Solv It, should be available at Wal Mart in the US. I order it through Amazon to remove tree sap from my dogs' fur. The reviews of it indicate it works on a huge number of things and it shouldn't damage the dash (safe for skin).
