Nice looking car. Now how did I miss this thread when it first started.

How much work was it to swap out the Evil Servo ACC unit for the manual one? What gave you the most problems. Wiring?

It has been done by members here on the Forum, but not a lot of info on it.
Swapping the two ac/heat units would be straight forward, it is just the little bits and pieces to connect.

As far as th odometer slipping or stopping, there is a Pot metal gear that slips on the shaft.
Here is a link to the Diesel Giant site showing how to repair it.

How to Repair Your Broken Odometer

He shows using a screw driver to rough up the shaft. I used a 6 inch pair of Needle Nose Vice Grips
to put in some ridges for the Pot Metal gear to bite into. Mine has worked great since the repair.
You won`t need to use the Super Glue.

If the numbered wheels get off a bit when putting it together, don`t worry about it.
I fought mine a few times, then just assembled it.

Above the number wheels are a set of grey cog wheels. File off the flat on one end of the shaft.
Pull the shaft out and take off the Cogs. move the number wheels where you want them
as you shove in the shaft and replace the Cogs.

To hold the shaft from coming out, I stripped off a short piece of wire insulation a bit smaller than the shaft.
Slip on the insulation and it will hold the shaft from coming out.

These 2 pictures show the Cogs and shaft.

Finding the original owner will be very difficult, would be cool if you could find them.
