Check for the connection to the kickdown. I think it's clipped to the engine lift loop at the rear of the block on the driver side. If that is not there then I would say recheck the fluid level.

If you had a picture of what I'm looking for it would be very helpful!
I also checked the fluid level. There was a little too much. I drained some to bring back the level between the 2 marks with the trans at operating temp in park. Didn't make a difference...
