Ebersbacher and Ansa are fine. Walker is slightly less well made.

The fact is that the mufflers on the diesels last a lot longer than on gasoline models. I would not worry about getting OE parts for exhaust work.

I would not worry overly much about doing the rear section if it looks good now, as (assuming the CD is the same as the sedan), it is just a slip-fit with a clamp onto the rear piece. Not like you have to undo welding or such.

One note: if you do decide to do the middle section, and you are DIY-ing, the aftermarket versions seem to have slightly thicker flanges - at least mine (Ebersbacher) did. It was a two person job to get the flanges tight enough to start the bolts, even with the car on a hoist.

I have since gone to the hardware store and bought the longest M8 lag bolts I could find... haven't yet seen if they're actually longer than the OE spec ones that I got from the dealer.
