Thank you to all who answered my questions concerning this job. Now, it is time to plan the job and get to work. Perhaps I'll hire some Hooters girls to supply beer, hot wings and hand me the necessary tools and parts during the replacement process. At least there will be a distraction if problems develop.

On another note, I wish I had access to a fully equipped garage, i.e. lifts, tools, etc etc. I understand there exists rental garages in Colorodo and a few other places where one can rent a lift to work on a car. Those lifts make the work a lot easier.
