I remember local "GAS WARS" it got down to $0.14.9 in the late 60'S. The regular price was $0.34.9, it was cut in half. All High Test stuff like John was talking about. And they pumped it, washed your windsheild, checked your oil and tires!

Remembering those times, remind me of the punch line of an old George Carlin joke I still use today " Just give me five bucks worth, and pour the rest on the ground"
