Bilsteins... only if they are ' coil over ' design... a shock is not designed to hold the weight of the car...only to damp bouncing....
He can try to find them anyway....
and since the Germans were nice enough to include the ' wire size' .. he might have them fabricated by a good spring and brake shop... find one that takes care of the big trucks for a good sized city... they will have the heat treating and tempering experience to do something like that...
