(We call them station wagons here in the U.S.A.) Apparently Mr. Samuelson has some sort of a problem understanding that concept.
If he wants an SUV, he can certainly have one. Canada is a free country. (Well, sort of anyway). I would only advise him to fasten his seat belt.

My most recent post before last was directed towards PaulH who apparently doesn't think anyone should have an opinion different than his. His comments bear much resemblance to that of your own. That is, go for the personal attack if you cannot think of anything better.
The originator of this post was asking for advice on buying a particular vehicle, an SUV. While we can all appreciate your accident and your need for the rest of us to feel sorry for you, your comments have nothing much to do with the original post. Yes, people have accidents in SUV's, they also have accidents in every other type of vehicle you can think of. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean that we should all jump out of our SUV's and buy a station wagon to be just like you (FYI I just sold my 300TD). So my point was this; if your SUV was so bad that you bought a car, what are you going to do when you get hit in the car? I suggest that maybe you will have to take the bus.
Perhaps if you weren't in an SUV the dumbass on the cell phone would have rode over top of you? Perhaps instead of deflecting the force of the impact you would have received the full brunt of it and thus received more substantial injuries?
Stationwagon, gee what’s that Abner? How old are you? 12? Of course, if you could make a decent point or carry out a debate with some semblance of intelligence you would not have to resort to such infantile school yard tactics. Grow up!
People like you are the reason Americans get such a bad reputation. Not that it is any of your business but I have as many friends and relatives in the good ol'USA as I do north of the 49th (hope you can find that on the map). So maybe you should think twice before you try to belittle someone for where they live or what country they may come from. One of my relatives could be your next door neighbour and yes I have relatives even in Texas. Needless to say I bear no malice to Americans, so why should you be so indignant towards Canadians?
As for the long winters, first of all can you even find Canada on a map? Have you ever been here? You probably get colder winters in northern Texas than we do around here. Our municipality doesn't even own a snow plow. We have had snow at Christmas only once in 20 or 30 odd years. Hell, the guy down the street was cutting his grass last weekend and the cherry trees have blossomed. Yeah been a real long winter around here! LMAO! Guess I better go now, I got to go fight off the Eskimos and then feed the dog sled team. After that I got to go rebuild the igloo from the time when the polar bear attacked looking for that fresh seal meat I got from the ice flow the day before. Yeah right!
As I said before GET A GRIP! Oh and save the bigotry for someone else.
