Contact the seller first. Give him a chance to make it right. If not, just initiate the return thru eBay. eBay will FORCE the seller to take it back, and pay shipping both ways. There is no need to go through PayPal, and is not recommended as it is difficult for the seller to resolve it through the PayPal platform.

I am an anchor seller with almost 3,000 listings, about 20 shipments a day. If a buyer wants to return an item, whether I accept it or not, the seller can return it at my expense. I usually just pony up a full refund the moment they contact me and tell them to keep the item to avoid the ding to my seller rating.
