There has got to be a cheaper way of doing this.

Wife's car has built in Nav (Not the Becker module) and when I was at the dealer I figured I'd ask about an update. Those nuts want $700 for and UPDATE!!!! I told the parts guy that I had the nav and just wanted an update. He said that this was the cost of the update.

Can anyone verify this? If this is true, does anyone know of a way to update the Nav with out involving MB?
