I have a 2002 ML500 that blew the steering rack and with 240K it's not worth the cost of repairing, thought it's a Sport Edition and almost in mint condition. So, I am parting it out.... That said, since the seats are mint, does anyone think it might be possible to retrofit the ML500 front seats into my gorgeous 1986 300SDL???...... I can weld and fabricate and own a mig welder...... any thoughts?
