Loosen all three big bolts on the Alternator, before trying to use the adjuster
or you will bend the bolt and the Bracket. One on the bottom and the two you can see from the top. All 17mm as I remember.

The Power Steering Pump has three bolts to loosen, and then the adjuster is on the top.
These are 13mm.

The AC Compressor has 2 big bolts, 17 or 19mm.
Then the adjuster is a small 10mm as I remember. been a while since I did this one.

I have an 82 240 to do next week and then it will all come back to me.

Looking in my Oficial MB FSM Basic Maintenance Manual.

Shows the "Genuwine Official" MB special tool part# 001-589-69-21-00 to check for tightness.

We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works
