I have been battling the sounds for a month now. Ive done the following to try to locate and fix it. I feel as if it got worse. In the beginning I changed:

1. Alternator
2. Waterpump
3. Steering Column and Damper - included outer tie rods

That didn't do anything. So I heard the noise under the shifter. Looked under car and my Flex Joint was pretty worn, hard as a rock. Changed BOTH front and rear and transmission one as well. This fixed the metal clunking issue when I drive. BUT... there is still a wobble sound coming from under the car. When I listed to it it is coming from the same area where the flex join is under the shifter. I checked to see if the heat shield maybe collapsed and rubbing on the shaft but don't think thats the problem. What could this be? Im hoping nothing with my transmission or engine itself. Any help is appreciated!!
