Thanks, all. Regarding mechanical ability/interest, I would say "fair." I've replaced cylinder heads on a GM 350 with decent success; that's about the most involved project I've tackled. On the other hand, I tend to get started on projects and screw things up along the way, making them much harder than they should be. :-)
