X2 on the clip. The pedal base (another living hinge) slides over a metal tab in the floor and is clipped in place.

I have an extra pedal around from my '91 SDL, don't ask though because I have no idea where, the point however is that it is the same as the 124 pedal, should make it easy to find a used one if a new one is NLA or long-lead time. Snag the one from your '87 300TD project in your sig.
