With out pulling up a wiring diagram, I can't specify that. I believe that the wire, that excites the starter when the switched is turned, is spliced for the NSS....Its been awhile since I dug into that...

Here is a couple links on threads, that had the same issue with the flashing...Most were cured with a new glow plug relay....I hope for your sake, that you don't have the legged version...That is pretty pricey!
