I am trying to figure out if my 2000 430 ML has the trailer hitch or just the spare tire removal mechanism behing the bumber.

I removed the square in the middle of the bumber. It looks like that is the area to release the spare tire. However the Benz dealer tells me that it has a hitch. I cannot see the part the hitch would slip into?

Can someone enlighten me!!
