I'm not seeing how it can be said the gun jammed. Looked more like he was out of rounds. The AK does not lock open when you run out of rounds like the AR/M16. You get to the point it just clicks and you know you are empty. I've never had an AK jam on me and I have run them until the barrel starts to change color. The AR, well, that's a whole other issue all together. When a direct impingement AR gets really hot, I've had shells stick in the chamber to the point the gun needs to cool down for an hour before it can be used again. Of course, that's when doing lots of mag dumps.
