You'd think they'd design it with an open bolt when on auto. For the life of me I don't understand why they stay with the AR. HK's are reliable AND accurate if your battle buddy on your right doesn't mind getting pelted with hot brass. The AK design if made with accuracy in mind is good such as IMI's Galil. Can't speak to Styers or others. Of course the M14 and Garand are God's gift to war.
