I owned one of these with the four cylinder.

I can attest to everything he said about if you don't own a toolbox full of tools then don't bother. If you don't own a full set of tools and repair manuals on this thing you will within a few months of purchase.

Everything on these breaks. But everything on these is cheap to repair. And everything, except for the water pump on this 4.0, is easy to get to.

And the ride is not that bad. The view is good and snow is never a problem.

So they have their ups and downs, but all in all this seems like a rather fair deal for a 4x4.
