I too have tapered back on weights at age 47. Really no point except to feel good and keep up some muscle mass for weight management, overall strength and bone density.

Wife and I go to Iyengar yoga. We used to go to regular gym yoga but like the meditative aspect of Iyengar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki9qos7dWTg
Welcome to DDP YOGA - The Most Complete Fitness System on the Planet Created by Diamond Dallas Page

It was put together by former pro wrestler "Diamond Dallas Page." I chose it because it is very good for people with injuries-I played too much football in my youth, and my girlfriend was a double digit mile (per day!) runner and also danced with the Boston ballet. We're pretty beat up.

I came to terms with the fact that tying my shoes without pain was a heck of a lot more important than the shock of running and the risk of injury while lifting. I'm going to be 39 in five weeks, and I'm no longer in pain.

Thanks for the Iyengar link. Will investigate, as there's a Yoga instructor in my BNI group, and I'm dying to try as many kinds as possible.
