I have a chromecast and it's great. We mostly watch Hulu but also have Netflix and recently got Amazon prime (the latter doesn't stream natively to chromecast). You can also cast chrome tabs to the tv and I can also cast video from my PC (via Plex) to the tv as well. We got rid of premium cable a couple years ago, although still have HBO as part of a package deal for signing up again.
