For 150mps speed, checked regularly to make sure there's no throttling, and the Xfinity system in the house, plus phone, I'm paying in the area of $185 per month. I was going to dump it after the first of the year, but my wife decided that after two days without it, I was driving her nuts...so she made the decision that I need it. Hey...as long as she's fine with the expense and it doesn't hurt the monthly budget, I'm fine.

That's the problem, I have two choices for internet. Frontier or Optimum, Frontier would probably be about $30 a month, Optimum is $70.
But the problem with Frontier is they slow the internet right down, watching a movie on say Netflix can be a struggle, you might have to pause to let it buffer. Its like in the old dial up days.
Optimum for all their issues is fast, they promise speed and deliver.
