I looked at two 2012s. One was 4WD and the other not. Both Chevy work trucks. The 2WD has a V8 and is actually rated mpg higher than the V6. 13/18 vs 14/21 I think. I don't know if that has more to do with the motors or the 4WD, maybe a bit of both.
Both trucks are lease returns and in near perfect condition. Around here everybody sneers at V6s in full sized trucks. I'm sure the dealer knows that. I think I can use it as a bargaining chip as he already has the V6 priced 3K lower than the V8. The truck drives out perfectly and has been on the lot several months.
