CPS is on the bell housing near starter motor near clutch .The front cps is of no use and wont help you find your problem . And if you get in the car turn key to spin engine over do you see any movement from the rev counter . If you can then the cps is ok.By the way do you have an immobiliser on this engine or alarm .This can cut all power to the coil.
