I am down to two things CPS is shot and not sending possition for it to fire or the CPS is faulty .Think its the same conclusion as you . I did have this problem ,my trouble was immobiliser ,it just never started up at all after winter standing .Auto electric chap took the immobiliser wires off the coil it started up right away. Can you see any extra wires on the coil ,looking for blue crimp conectors.
