If you still have it open and accessible, can you please let me know where the hose in your pic is connecting to on both ends?

When Changing positive cable on my w124, I accidently(It was very brittle with age) broke plastic hose and Now I can't find it where it's other end is connecting to because it is disappearing in firewall.
