There are a number of FLW examples in the Phoenix valley, mostly residential I think. I have relatives who live in the Arcadia neighborhood in Phoenix and know this one well. FLW built it for his son.

David and Gladys Wright House Arcadia
Glad they saved David's home! Came really close, kept track, until life got too hectic. Will have to add that to the list of things to do if Dad comes to visit.

Dad and I did visit Taliesin West second to last time here. I have now been at least three times; used to go their to think when lived in Tempe (now too far to drive for just that). Includes a private tour (and only).

Not much into Wright, especially since was so wrong (especially structurally). But, did add a lot of ideas/thoughts to Architecture. My tastes change over time, as one point did like him. Though will never change with Lou Kahn as so spiritual and timeless. Guess then say my favorite.

As for current Architects, like Will Bruder and his student Wendell Burnette. Wendell teaches at A.S.U. and had the good fortune to have had him critique my studio work and part of the jury.

That is something else! Will have to keep that in mind if ever in the area, though never could afford staying there.
