Diagnosis:
(and please don't laugh when you hear this, after all the techs couldn't/wouldn't figure it out)
The external fuse to the blower motor was broken. The fuse was not listed on the fuse cover and i found the info here...went to the dealer, picked up a new one ( with a big grin and in a MATTER OF FACT
kind of way told them I had fixed it...they felt rather dumb
